Last week was special as the entire school and community celebrated Aboriginal culture and traditions. We were involved in events all week ranging from dancing, craft making, and workshops. It was a community building experience and we are grateful to have been a part of it!
What's been going on Currently our class is working on one of their end of year projects titled: Passion Project. The goal of the project is for students to communicate something they are passionate about, what experiences they have with the topic and take steps to delve a bit deeper into the topic. This year in May our students will be presenting to their class peers, but we're hoping that next year they will share their projects in other classes out in the school so people get to know us better.
